Bowler IPA - OG: 13,5%, ABV: 6,1%, IBU:55

When ale lovers desire a more sophisticated drink, they do not hesitate to order a glass of Bowler IPA (India Pale Ale). This beer volcano will not disappoint anyone. As a relative of the classic Bowler Brilliant Ale, it has a more pronounced bitterness, flavor, strength, and density.

The history of the IPA goes back to the colonization era of India, to which ale was brought by British soldiers. In order that the drink could withstand the long sea journey, and not to lose its characteristic taste, it was brewed with a greater additional quantity of hops. Unexpectedly, this attempted “trickery” led to the creation of new varieties.

Bowler IPA is brewed in then American style, with hops from the USA such as Chinook, Simcoe, Citra, and Amarillo. The result – is amber in the glass, with a pronounced bitter aftertaste. Of particular interest is the aroma of the Bowler IPA – a bouquet that blends citrus, floral, pine, and fruity notes. This is achieved by “dry hopping” – when at the end of the brew cycle, more hops are added. Such bright traits and a recognizable character move the Bowler IPA to the rank of heavyweight-ales, where it has earned the right to wear the champion’s belt.
